Wonderful Staff and Support
You can have a marvelous physical plant but if your people aren't sympathetic and helpful, all the glitzy touches mean ... very little in the long run. I can't say enough good things about the people here at River Crossing. Tanisha Cummings was terrific in helping with the application process – not easy for me having come from abroad after almost 20 years. And once I was in, the support continued with prompt – and cheerful and polite! – maintenance help that even extended to picking up and transporting my cats to the management office so the countertops could be worked on. They even returned them in a squalling rainstorm, again with good humor and lovely manners. So far, 2 months in, River Crossing gets an A in my book for outstanding people power. Great Place to Live
We loved living at River Crossing. The area is very quiet and safe. The price for the apartment is reasonable for Savannah. ... Our neighbours were nice and friendly, also all the stuff. Whenever we had a problem or question they helped us immediately. We own two cats, so a big plus was the very animal-friendly policy for River Crossing. Almost everyone around us owned pets and that´s the kind of atmosphere we appreciate. This area is perfect for animal and ocean lovers (Tybee Island is only a 15/20min drive away without the horrible Traffic). This complex was where my roommate and I landed when we got to Savannah and it's been a great experience for two years. It's quiet and out of the way but still close to the edge of Savannah, so not too far from anything. Straight shot to Tybee Island as well. If you're looking for a good place that is worth the money, I recommend River Crossing.

Great maintenance. 10 minute walk to two piers, 20 minutes from Tybee Island and 15 minutes from downtown Savannah. Great amenities including a pool and a workout room. All my neighbors seem cool and Thunderbolt is a cutest little town.
